TV series I'm dying to watch!

*cue the theme song. These are the TV series I want to watch for so long  *badum tsss

If you have been reading some of my other post here, probably, you know that I am a sucker for a good TV show. I spend an ungodly amount of time watching in my computer but still there are some shows out there that are on my list. Since summer is finished and I started school last Monday, this is kind of a goodbye to my summer mindset and slowly comeback to my school focus (not really psh) brain.

Enough of the rambles, let's get to these TV shows!

1. A To Z

BLURB FROM THE INTERNET

Andrew is a romantic who works for an online dating website and dreams about meeting "the one" he imagines to be like the woman in a silver dress he once spotted at a concert. Zelda is a no-nonsense lawyer, who rebelled against her hippie mom by becoming exceedingly practical. When a computer glitch on the dating website leads to her being paired with a total mismatch, she goes to the offices to be interviewed about it, meeting Andrew in the process. Despite their differences, the two hit it off, and Andrew believes it to be fate, convinced she is the one with the silver dress in his dreams.

This show was suggested by my friend Nuan. I watched the pilot, a couple of episodes here and there but I haven't really watched the whole thing. It's also on my list of WATCHED-THE-PILOT-DIDN'T-WATCH-THE-REST-YET, I want to give you a synopsis but what I know is already on the blurb! ☺. However, hot-damn it was cancelled! I just hope this doesn't end with a cliffhanger like Emily Owen's MD did.

Also I am actually pumped because Cristin Milioti aka The Mother from HIMYM is the lead!

2. Breaking Bad

BLURB FROM THE INTERNET

Mild-mannered high school chemistry teacher Walter White thinks his life can't get much worse. His salary barely makes ends meet, a situation not likely to improve once his pregnant wife gives birth, and their teenage son is battling cerebral palsy. But Walter is dumbstruck when he learns he has terminal cancer. Realizing that his illness probably will ruin his family financially, Walter makes a desperate bid to earn as much money as he can in the time he has left by turning an old RV into a meth lab on wheels.

Oh,yes. Breaking Bad. I heard nothing but fantastic things about this show. Christine from Polandbananasbooks likes it, loads of people like it then why in the world Trisha never watched this show?
Well I watched the pilot, kinda. I didn't finish it though, not because I don't like, but because it was 12:00 midnight and I was so tired that I decided to turn it off so, yeah.

need I say more?

3. Gotham

BLURB FROM THE INTERNET
  1. Jim Gordon is a rising detective in corrupt Gotham City, where his late father was a successful district attorney. Brave, honest and determined to prove himself, Jim hopes to return the city to the glamorous, purer version he remembers as a child. He and his partner, legendary Detective Harvey Bullock, must navigate the dirty politics of Gotham's justice system, even as they tackle a high-profile case, the murder of billionaires Thomas and Martha Wayne. Gordon becomes a friend to their young orphan, Bruce.

This is about Jim Gordon, it's kind of like a prequel to Batman, I guess? I am a huge fan of Bruce Wayne and definitely intrigued about Gotham. I heard mixed reviews but I'm still excited!

Look at the cast. Are you intrigued? HUH, YEAH.

4. How To Get Away With Murder

BLURB FROM THE INTERNET
  1. Annalise Keating (Oscar-nominated,Tony-winning actress Viola Davis) is a brilliant, charismatic and seductive professor of defense law, who teaches a class called How to Get Away With Murder. Annalise, also a criminal defense attorney, selects a group of students -- the best and the brightest -- to assist with cases at her firm alongside her employees, the trustworthy and discreet Frank Delfino (Charlie Weber) and Bonnie Winterbottom ("Gilmore Girls" alum Liza Weil), an associate attorney. Mysteries arise that test everyone's limits and reveal dark truths.
This show intrigued me from the first moment I saw the title. How To Get Away With Murder is just a super catchy title, right?

I recognize some of the cast. So excited to binge watch this soon!

5. New Girl

  1. BLURB FROM THE INTERNET
  2. After going through a rough breakup, awkward and upbeat Jess (Zooey Deschanel) moves in with three single guys. Intelligent and witty Nick is an underachiever who took the bartender off-ramp on his road to success. Schmidt obsesses over his social standing and looks at Jess as a personal project. Winston is a competitive former athlete who, after realizing he will never become a pro, moves into the loft. Together with Jess' best friend, Cece, they bond to form an unlikely, and dysfunctional, family.
I watched the first season way back in 2012 when it aired on ETC. I stopped watching it when I started high-school, ever since I have been dying to continue this series. I love Zoey Deschanel, she's one of those actress I look up to. I like the chemistry between each character!

  1. MY SHIP: NESS (JESS AND NICK) LOL.

6. Orange Is The New Black

BLURB FROM THE INTERNET
  1. Piper Chapman is a public relations executive with a career and a fiance when her past suddenly catches up to her. In her mid-30s she is sentenced to spend time in a minimum-security women's prison in Connecticut for her association with a drug runner 10 years earlier. This Netflix original series is based on the book of the same title. Forced to trade power suits for prison orange, Chapman makes her way through the corrections system and adjusts to life behind bars, making friends with the many eccentric, unusual and unexpected people she meets.
I don't know much about this show but my classmate's parents are enjoying and a lot of people are loving it as well. It's a Netflix show so the restrictions are pretty low. Need to watch this soon!

love this!

7. Orphan Black

BLURB FROM THE INTERNET
  1. Sarah is a street-wise woman with a troubled past as an English orphan who bounced around foster homes before being taken in by Mrs. S, who uprooted her and her foster brother, Felix, to North America. She has made bad decisions in her life but always strives to do right by daughter Kira. When Sarah witnesses the suicide of a woman, Beth (who looks like her) she decides to steal Beth's identity -- boyfriend and money included -- in an attempt to begin a new life for herself and Kira, with whom Sarah hopes to reunite. But assuming Beth's life -- Sarah eventually learns that Beth was her clone -- doesn't go as smoothly as she anticipates because Beth was a cop caught in the middle of a deadly conspiracy, making Sarah the new target. Sarah must fight to stay alive while trying to escape from the complex web. As more threads appear, Sarah is pulled deeper, and Felix becomes her one true confidant.
This is a sci-fi show that deals with cloning. TALK ABOUT COOL STUFF. I have been meaning to watch shows like this. Sci-fi rocks.

The leading actress Tatiana Maslany is pretty awesome since she acts all these crazy clones!

8. Outlander

  1.  BLURB FROM THE INTERNET
After serving as a British Army nurse in World War II, Claire Randall is enjoying a second honeymoon in Scotland with husband Frank, an MI6 officer looking forward to a new career as an Oxford historian. Suddenly, Claire is transported to 1743 and into a mysterious world where her freedom and life are threatened. To survive, she marries Jamie Fraser, a strapping Scots warrior with a complicated past and a disarming sense of humor. A passionate relationship ensues, and Claire is caught between two vastly different men in two inharmonious lives. "Outlander" is adapted from the best-selling books by Diana Gabaldon.
All I know about this show is that it's based on a book with the same title. Natasha from Tashapolis likes it and it looks pretty good. It's like one of those adventure with a touch of romance type of show. Kinda reminds me of Reign.

ha.ha hello.

9. Parks and Recreation

                                                             BLURB FROM THE INTERNET

  1. Leslie Knope, a midlevel bureaucrat in an Indiana Parks and Recreation Department, hopes to beautify her town (and boost her own career) by helping local nurse Ann Perkins turn an abandoned construction site into a community park, but what should be a fairly simple project is stymied at every turn by oafish bureaucrats, selfish neighbors, governmental red tape and a myriad of other challenges. Leslie's colleague Tom Haverford, who delights in exploiting his position for personal gain, is as likely to undermine her efforts as to help her, while her boss, Ron Swanson, is adamantly opposed to government in any form, even though he's a bureaucrat himself.
I love Chris Pratt and Amy Phoeler and I absolutely love shows that makes me happy so this show is right for me :)

MY SHIP : BESLIE AKA BEN AND LESLIE ( based from the fan videos I watched on youtube)

10. Supernatural

                                                              BLURB FROM THE INTERNET
  1. This haunting series follows the thrilling yet terrifying journeys of Sam and Dean Winchester, two brothers who face an increasingly sinister landscape as they hunt monsters. After losing their mother to a supernatural force, the brothers were raised by their father as soldiers who track mysterious and demonic creatures. Violent memories and relationship-threatening secrets add additional burdens on Sam and Dean as they investigate all things that go bump in the night. As old tricks and tools are rendered useless and friends betray them, the brothers must rely on each other as they encounter new enemies.
I watch Doctor Who and Sherlock now the only show I'm missing is Supernatural to complete SUPERWHOLOCK!. Do you have any thoughts about this series?
  2. :(

11. The Big Bang Theory

BLURB FROM THE INTERNET

  1. Mensa-fied best friends and roommates Leonard and Sheldon, physicists who work at the California Institute of Technology, may be able to tell everybody more than they want to know about quantum physics, but getting through most basic social situations, especially ones involving women, totally baffles them. How lucky, then, that babe-alicious waitress/aspiring actress Penny moves in next door. Frequently seen hanging out with Leonard and Sheldon are friends and fellow Caltech scientists Wolowitz and Koothrappali. Will worlds collide? Does Einstein theorize in the woods?
I am so interested in watching TBBT, some of my classmates totally love this show, I'm fascinated about how is this related to science and I finished re-watching HIMYM ending and the alternate, I need a fix.
  2. The sass is real, aha

12. The Flash

BLURB FROM THE INTERNET

  1. At 11, Barry Allen's life changed completely when his mother died in a freak accident and his innocent father was convicted of her murder. Now a crime-scene investigator, his dedication to learn the truth about his mother's death drives him to follow up on every new scientific advancement and urban legend. When his latest obsession -- a particle accelerator heralded as a world-changing invention -- causes an explosion, it creates a freak storm and Barry is struck by lightning. He awakes from a coma nine months later with the power of superspeed. When he learns that others who have gained powers use them for evil, he dedicates himself to protecting the innocent, while still trying to solve the older mystery.
Another comic book tv show, hooray! Grant Gustin is Barry Allen! I'm really excited how this will turn out since I know Grant from Glee as Seb, hehe.

13. Lost

BLURB FROM THE INTERNET

  1. The survivors of Oceanic Flight 815 were 1,000 miles off course when they crashed on a lush, mysterious island. Each person possesses a shocking secret, but they've got nothing on the island itself, which harbors a monstrous security system, a series of underground bunkers and a group of violent survivalists hidden in the shadows.
Heard this show from Christine of Polandbananasbooks. It's like The 100 but more mature, seems awesome!

14. Freaks and Geeks

BLURB FROM THE INTERNET

  1. Growing up circa 1980, a misfit high-school student and his pals are probably destined to become new media millionaires, but right now they're stuck in school, where all the girls are a foot taller and bullies terrorize the gym class. Meanwhile, his older sister is flirting with the dope-smoking bad boys, cutting classes and questioning the point of getting good grades.
    JAMES. FRANCO. :) :)

(disclaimer: I don't own any of the images shown unless stated)
